In the first few weeks of the war, one of the orphanages we regularly support was shelled, and the last repairs were completed just a few weeks before the Russian offensive. The orphanage is located in the Boryspil district of Kyiv region, so it suffered almost as much as all the buildings near Kyiv. Fortunately, the children who lived in this building left the house with their caregivers at the beginning of the war, so they were not harmed and are now safe.
What surprised us the most was that even after the shelling, their abuse of the orphanage did not stop. They broke into the building and rummaged through the children's closets with their belongings... And they left the house, of course, not empty-handed, but with all the food and medicines. The Russian occupiers have nothing sacred!
Later, we will start helping the orphanage repair everything that was destroyed by the occupiers.
Everything will be Ukraine!
