In the fall of 2018, we first found the facility we wanted to help - the inpatient department of the Boryspil Tercentre in the village of Revne. It has been operating since 1992. The home is home to 48 elderly people, and almost half of them are bedridden.

The elderly needed basic necessities, and we also noticed that they lacked simple communication.

Our assistance began with the delivery of diapers and food to the home.

Here is one of the lists of what was brought:

• diapers size L - 70 pcs.
• slippers - 48 pairs
• socks - 49 pairs
• nightgowns - 32 pcs.
• T-shirts - 17 pcs.
• mobile toilets - 3 pcs.
• vacuum cleaner - 1 pc.
• iron - 1 pc.
• wall clocks - 4 pcs.
• TV sets - 5 pcs.
• tuners - 5 pcs.
• candies - 49 pcs.
  

Later, for two years, we provided the grandparents with all the essentials (from diapers to sweets). We also brought them new household appliances (TVs, vacuum cleaners, telephones, etc.). For example, on New Year's Eve, we brought gifts that the elderly people dreamed of. And in general, we spent a lot of time communicating with them, because we realized that every minute is important for the elderly. And pleasant words will make them happy all day long.

Subsequently, the team atFrom Heart UAdecided to renovate the bathrooms in this nursing home because the conditions were terrible.
